Glen Plaid

You’ve probably seen this pattern more often these days. It’s old school for sure but it’s making a big comeback right now. In fact Joseph Gordon-Levitt was wearing two pieces of a three piece suit on a recent cover of GQ Magazine.

The irregular patterns of checks are what define Glen plaid. And it is sometimes referred to as the Prince of Wales pattern. This is a classic and excellent pattern for fall and winter suits, and outerwear. It’s having a moment right now, but it’s also a timeless weapon in your sartorial arsenal.
