Houndstooth

In a sea of glen plaid, gingham, and other patterns one way you can really stand out is by rockin some houndstooth. It’s not uncommon enough for people to shout “Oy! Freak show!” at you, but in a city like DC there’s not too many fellas that stray outside the traditional blacks, blues, and grays. Houndstooth is a great pattern for fall and winter weather and is most commonly found in black and white. Its key characteristic is its repeating patterns between two different colors that are created from each others’ negative space.
