It’s winter, so it’s a fact of life that salt will inevitably get on your favorite leather shoes and on your pants. But all is not lost my salinated friends.
Removing salt from leather shoes
Mix a teaspoon of white vinegar (only use white vinegar!) with one cup of warm water. Use a cotton cloth to dab and rub the solution onto the affected areas of the shoe.
Removing salt from clothing
Just put a cup of white vinegar into your laundry with your normal detergent. The stains should come right out!
