As reported by DCist, for today only (and only from 7:46pm for 67 minutes) the Round Robin bar at the Willard Intercontinental hotel is selling the classic southern cocktail the Mint Julep for only $2. The promotion is to celebrate the the hotel’s 67th birthday (they opened in 1946) and are offering the drinks at the 1946 prices. Quite a steal!
The Mint Julep is traditionally a beloved southern drink made of Bourbon whiskey, ice, sugar, water, and mint leaves.
Perfect execution!
