H&M opening on Connecticut Ave

As reported by Washington Business Journal

Finally! The massive former Filene’s Basement location at 1133 Connecticut Avenue (between Dupont Circle and Farragut Square) will be occupied. We’ve already got a few H&M’s here in the DC area, but since I personally happen to live in Adams Morgan (and coincidentally walk by this location EVERY DAY) this will be much more convenient for me. Dupont Circle’s always been a place to find certain things, but I think we’d all agree it’s second tier when it comes to the area’s shopping neighborhoods.

While H&M’s clothing isn’t necessarily heirloom worthy, it’s great for casual-wear or for clothes you don’t mind getting beaten up on the local nightlife scene. As for some other items to look into there, definitely consider their accessories section. There’s a number of things that are pretty decent (in value and quality).
