The Hay-Adams is jazzing up its brunch

The beautiful dining room at The Hay-Adams Lafayette restaurant will be filled with the sounds of live jazz music for Sunday brunch during the month of January.

 

The Hay-Adams is is jazzing up its Sunday brunch — literally. Beginning on Sunday, Jan. 8, and continuing each Sunday in January, it will host live jazz music as part of brunch in it’s Lafayette restaurant.

For the special “January Jazz At The Hay Brunch” executive chef Nicolas Legret is offering a three-course menu focused on a variety of local and seasonally-inspired ingredients.

Diners will start with an appetizer buffet featuring an array of starters and salads, followed by a choice of plated entrées, such as lobster omelette, with white beech and shiitake mushrooms and Brussel sprouts; crab cake Benedict with poached egg, spinach, oyster mushroom, and tarragon hollandaise; and Maryland wild rockfish with eggplant, peppers, caponata.

For a sweet finish, pastry chef Josh Short offers a tempting dessert display sure to delight the senses. Brunch selections are complemented with a delicious beverage of choice, such as a glass of Taittinger Champagne, a classic bloody Mary, or a strawberry orange mimosa. Freshly brewed coffee and Mighty Leaf Tea are also included with the brunch.

Priced at $80.00 per person or $40.00 for children 12 years old and younger, the jazz brunch series will run from Sunday, Jan 8 through Sunday, Jan. 29, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
