Restaurant Week

It’s that time of year again. Winter Restaurant Week returns to the Washington metropolitan area, starting Monday, Jan. 30,and running through Sunday, Feb. 5. It will be the 30th Restaurant Week in 17 years.

The semi-annual event will feature 250 of the best restaurants throughout the DMV offering three-course meals at fixed prices. Diners will be able to enjoy lunches and brunches for $22 and dinners for $35. This is the first time brunches will be included during the week. More than 50 restaurants will offer brunch including Kyirisan, Cuba Libra, DBGB, and The Bird.

More than an opportunity for a fantastic meal at great price, Restaurant Week is a perfect chance to check out new cuisines, try out new restaurants in different neighborhoods or visit old favorites. An excellent starting place for planning your dining experience is by visiting the Restaurant Week website. www.rwdmv.com. There you will find a listing of all participating restaurants, view menus, and purchase gift cards.

With the popularity of the Restaurant Week, plan to make reservations as soon as possible. Many of the restaurants fill up early. As part of the Diner Rewards program, anyone who books their reservations through www.rwdmv.com and opts to receive exclusive deals on meals is automatically entered to win prizes from Restaurant Week sponsors.

Don’t forget to also check out Bethesda Magazine Restaurant Week (Jan. 13 to 22), National Harbor Restaurant Week (Jan. 14 to 20), and Alexandria Restaurant Week (Feb. 17 to 26)
