Yards Park is the place to be this weekend

Grab your green and head to Yards Park from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. this Saturday, March 18, fro the return of the Clover Beer Fest. Tickets start at $49 and include admission, unlimited full pours of the “house green beer,” 10 tastings of all of the craft beers, ciders and wines at the festival, entry into the first round of Boozy Bingo, and lawn games. Food trucks and other vendors will be on-site selling food and other trinkets. In addition, there will be live entertainment including DJ Julian Rivera and the band Jeff from Accounting.

The party continues at Yards Park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 19, when Taste of DC hosts Taste on Wheels: Green Eggs & Kegs Edition.  The event will include more than two dozen of the area’s top food trucks.  Each of the participating vendors will have an Irish breakfast theme and a signature item priced at $3 or under. The general admission ticket is $5 and includes one free  drink. There is also a “Bottomless Drinks” ticket that includes unlimited mimosas and green beer.
