Ginworld DC is happening now

Did you know D.C. is hosting a week-long celebration of gin? Well, it is, and it started today.

Originated in St. Louis in 2015, Ginworld is designed to be a social and educational celebration of gin. For this week’s inagual of Ginworld in the nation’s capital, a series of events and special promotions are taking place in area bars, restaurants, and distilleries. The culmination of this ode to gin will be the Gin Festival from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 1. Hosted by One Eight Distillery, the festival will feature engagement with distillers and multi-level tastings to learn the wide varieties in the spectrum of gin. Tickets to the festival are $55 and can be purchased online.
