More than 70 breweries will be at the Nationals Park for the return of the DC Beer Festival this Saturday, April 22.  In addition to the outstanding selection of craft beers, the festival will have more than a dozen food trucks throughout as well as lawn games, and top DJs.  Admission (21 and older only) is $45 with a choice of two sessions: noon to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admissions includes unlimited tastings, with food sold separately.

One of the top charity events in the city – and a must for DC foodies, the 14th annual Blue Jeans Ball will be held this Sunday, April 23. It is the Capital Area Food Bank’s biggest fundraiser of the year, supporting men, women, children, and families in need. More than 40 of the DMV’s leading chefs and mixologists will be providing food and drink. There will also be live music and amazing auction items. The Blue Jeans Ball is being held from 6 p.m.. to 9 p.m. at the Marriott Marquis. Each $200 ticket provides 500 meals to our neighbors in need.
