American Field Pop-Up hits Union Market

For the third year in a row American Field opens up its pop up market here in the Nation’s Capital. The pop up market will showcase 75 American-made brands including clothing, home goods, food, drink and accessories.

Washington, DC is the first stop on the American Field 2017 circuit traveling to Boston in September and returning back to DC at the end of September before hitting Brooklyn in mid November. This is the second time the event will be held at Dock5 at Union Market. In 2015 the two-day event was held in Georgetown.

This year, Maker’s Mark and Virginia Dare Winery will sponsor American Field, both offering complimentary samples to event-goers. Other new vendors to the event include La Colombe Coffee, who will be giving out courtesy draft latte’s, Fellow Barber who will be offering $20 onsite haircuts, Polar Beverage, Tara Locklear Jewelry, BLKSMTH Denim, , Kim Schalk Design, and Manready Mercantile, . Returning vendors from previous American Field events are Brothers Artisan Oil, Throne Watches, Ball and Buck, Crusoe Jewelry, Square Trade Goods, and Jack + G. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sat/Sun and is free and open to the public. Dock5 is located at Union Market, 1309 5th St NE, Washington, DC 20002.
