Frontier Airlines has announced that it is adding new service from Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) to San Antonio, Texas. The same aircraft will then continue on from San Antonio to Ontario, California.

The new flights will begin operations in October. There will be round-trip service on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. To celebrate, the airline is making fares available for booking now starting as low as $39 on its website, FlyFrontier.com.

“The new flights further support our mission to deliver low fares nationwide, to more than 90 percent of America,” said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president, commercial for Frontier Airlines.

The addition of San Antonio and Ontario makes a total of 11 destinations serviced by Frontier from Dulles.
