Fair Chance will host its annual Butterfly Bash on Friday, October 13 at 7:00 p.m. at Dock5 @ Union Market. This year’s event, which marks Fair Chance’s fifteenth anniversary, will honor Marie and Wendell Johns for their participation in a wide range of nonprofit organizations that support education and youth in the Washington, DC area.
The Butterfly Bash is Fair Chance’s signature event to raise funds and honor local leaders committed to helping children living in poverty in Washington, DC. Proceeds from the event help Fair Chance strengthen the sustainability and performance of community-based nonprofits to achieve life-changing results for children and youth living in poverty.
The Fair Chance Butterfly Bash will welcome 700 guests and more than 50 corporate sponsors representing DC’s top financial, real estate and legal firms for an evening of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live music and dancing. Fair Chance is committed to improving the lives of children in DC’s poorest neighborhoods.
