Electronic music magazine DJ Mag has ranked D.C.’s largest concert venue Echostage as the #1 nightlife club in the USA and #4 in the world on its list of the Top 100 Clubs released yesterday. The venue moved up four spots from last year’s list of venues worldwide.

The only U.S. venue to make the top 10, it now joins the ranks of world favorites like Green Valley (Brazil), Usuaïa (Ibiza), Zouk Singapore and HI Ibiza.

More than 400,000 music fans and experts from around the world voted on the annual DJ Mag power list, which for the past four years has ranked Echostage in its top 20 international round-up.

DJ Mag wrote, “Whether you’re a festival veteran, a club-hopping raver or a live music fanatic, Echostage offers a taste for everyone.”

Echostage is consistently named by top EDM DJs Tiesto, Porter Robinson, The Chainsmokers, and Hardwell as one of their favorite venues to perform in. Its recent rise is likely due in part to having newcomer headliners like Cardi B, Migos, and Alison Wonderland, which all drew in massive crowds.
