Barley Mac’s all-you-can-eat Oyster Fest is back this Saturday

Barley Mac, Arlington, Va.’s hip Industrial-chic restaurant and bar, is having its second annual Barley Mac Oyster Fest this Saturday, April 21, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.. Owner Mike Cordero is serving up classic summertime favorites to enjoy on Barley Mac’s popular patio. 

Fest attendees will enjoy the restaurant’s locally caught oysters along with various side dishes and the choice of chilled white wine, cocktails, beer and whiskey (two drinks are included).

As part of the all you can eat offering, Barley Mac is serving raw oysters, Oyster Rockefellers, grilled oysters, fried po-boys, oyster stew, fried Buffalo batter oysters, and oyster ceviche. There will also be made to order oyster shooters.

In addition to the food and drinks, theBarley Mac Oyster Fest includes an oyster eating contest, shucking instruction stations, and cigar rolling demonstrations.  Live music will also be provided from local favorites The Wing Its.

TheBarley Mac Oyster Fest is open to all age groups (21+ will be given wristbands and two drink tickets). Tickets are $49 a person when purchases in advance online, or $59 a person at the door. Event sponsors include Sam Adams, Balvenie and Hendricks.
