Inspired by musicians such as Kurt Cobain, Welles is bringing his alternative rock sound to the Black Cat on Tuesday, Sept. 18.

Opening for Dead Sara on their national tour, Welles will perform songs from his debut album, “White Trees and Red Trashes,” which NPR said is “huge, putting Welles in the same league as the smart bands reviving rock’s mainstream right now, like Royal Blood and Greta Van Fleet.”

Welles produced his new album in collaboration with award winning producer Dave Coob, who has worked with acts such as Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapleton, Zac Brown Band, Lori McKenna, and Jason Isbell.

Tickets for Welles and Dead Sara are $12 and available for purchase online.
