The annual Taste of Georgetown, returns on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 11am to 4pm. It will take place from the .waterfront area from Wisconsin Avenue to Thomas Jefferson Street. The family-friendly event will offer creative tastes from dozens of the neighborhood’s best restaurants and is free to attend.
In addition to an array of tasty food, the all-day festival will feature a Pizzeria Paradiso craft beer garden, live music by ‘90s cover band White Ford Bronco, and a kid’s corner featuring face painting. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in eating competitions, play giant lawn games in the beer garden, and experience live screen printing courtesy of INFINITI, the event’s title sponsor.
Taste tickets will be available for purchase during the event from several ticket booth locations along K Street NW. Each ticket will be redeemable onsite for one restaurant taste, beer (full pour), or wine (full pour).
Taste of Georgetown was founded by former Grace Episcopal Church rector David Bird and congregant Robert Egger, and continues to benefit the Georgetown Ministry Center’s mission to support the homeless. It is presented by Infinit in partnership with the Georgetown Business Improvement District.
