One night only: Don’t miss John Cameron Mitchell at National Theatre

Double Tony Award-winning, Golden Globe-nominated co-creator and original star of Hedwig & the Angry Inch, John Cameron Mitchell is at National Theatre for one night only at 8 p.m. this Friday, Feb. 8.

As part of his U.S. Origin of Love Tour, Mitchell will performs songs from his groundbreaking rock musical and share stories from 20 years of Hedwig’s history. He’ll also preview songs from his upcoming musical Anthem.

A multi-talented entertainer, Mitchell directed, starred and, with songwriter Stephen Trask, wrote the multi-award winning musical and film Hedwig & the Angry Inch. He also directed Shortbus and the film of the Pultizer Prize-winning play Rabbit Hole  aw well as appeared in the original Broadway productions of The Secret GardenBig River, and Six Degrees of Separation. Recent recurring TV roles include HBO’s Girls andVinyl, CBS’s The Good Fight, and Amazon’s Mozart in the Jungle.

Tickets to The Origin of Love: The Song & Stories of Hedwig are available for purchase online and are $54 to $79.
