Tacos ‘n Taps comes to DC

The Trigger Agency is bringing its popular Tacos ‘n Taps festival to the nation’s capital on Saturday, Sept. 7.

The Mexican themed food and drink event will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Akridge Lot, next to the Audi Field at 1880 2nd Street SW.

Admission to Tacos ‘n Taps includes a souvenir glass that allows for an unlimited tasting experience with more than 60 craft beers, mezcals, margaritas, and tequilas as well as some ciders and wine. There will also be various food vendors offering a variety of tacos and Mexican inspired dishes available with each featuring at least one taco option for $3.

Live music will be played throughout the day and fun activities including a hot pepper eating challenge and a piñata punching contest are planned.

General admission to the festival starts at $40 with advance purchase.  A limited number of VIP tickets that include early admission, designated bathrooms, and four taco tickets are also available for $70
