Cirque du Soleil’s VOLTA hosts Equality Night

Cirque du Soleil’s VOLTA is showing under the Big Top at Tysons II through the end of September.  This Thursday, Sept. 12, it will host a special Equality Night.  The evening’s performance will raise funds for SMYAL, which supports and empowers lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth in the Washington, DC, metropolitan region.

VOLTA a captivating story of discovery inspired in part by the adventurous spirit that fuels the culture of street sports.  It explores the themes of celebrating differences and unique qualities in a world where technology often isolates people from one another rather than freeing them.

Tickets to the show are $50 for general admission and $175 for VIP seating.  For every ticket purchased with the promo code “RAINBOW,” $3 will be donated to SMYAL Attendees will be able to meet VOLTA artists and take photos on a rainbow carpet beginning at 6:30 p.m. and attend the show at 7:30 p.m.
