City Brew Tours has been providing premium brewery tours in Washington D.C. for the last 5 years and is now crossing the river into Northern Virginia. Its new NOVA Brew Tour is a deluxe version of the company’s successful tour model that includes beer tastings, food and Beer Expert led behind-the-scenes brewery tours along a four-stop route.

“It’s no secret that Virginia has definitely been having a moment in terms of craft breweries,” says Steven Quartell, City Brew Tours Coordinator and Certified Cicerone. “Over the past five years, we’ve created amazing relationships with District breweries while serving more than 15,000 craft beer enthusiasts. We’ve been looking at branching out into Northern Virginia for the last few years, and we’re excited to work with our brewery and restaurant partners in Fairfax and Loudoun Counties to craft awesome tasting experiences for our guests.”

The City Brew Tours team has partnered with local breweries, brew pubs and restaurants throughout Northern Virginia, including Caboose Brewing Co., Lake Anne Brewhouse, Rocket Frog Brewing Company, Dynasty Brewing, Crafthouse in Reston, and Fireworks Pizza in the Cascades neighborhood of Sterling.

Available on select weekdays and weekends, the NOVA Brew Tour is approximately six hours and includes up to 16 beer samples during visits to four affiliate partners with a snack at one stop and a delicious meal at another. Along the way, the guide shares beer facts, history and local insights to enhance the experience for well-versed enthusiasts and beer beginners alike. Each tour begins and ends at designated pick-up locations in Crystal City or Tysons Corner.

“Whether you’re looking for something to do while you’re in town for a business conference, visiting DC for the weekend and looking for something to do beyond the monuments, or just want to get out of the city and explore some amazing breweries this side of the Potomac, we’ve got NOVA covered,” says Quartell.

The NOVA Brew Tour is $115 per person and joins the City Brew Tours two DC-centric public tour packages and private brew tour offerings in its portfolio. Information on all tour packages, available times, dates and more can be found on the City Brew Tour website.
