Don’t miss Oyamel’s Tequila & Mezcal Festival 2020 kicking off March 2

Chef José Andrés and his team at Oyamel are holding their annual Tequila & Mezcal Festival, Monday, March 2 through Wednesday, March 11.  The festival pays homage to these unique spirits of Mexico while also showcasing Oyamel’s creative menu of antojitos, ceviches and tacos.

The 2020 Tequila & Mazcal Festival will begin with a kick-off party from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, March 2.  Guests will enjoy and an all-inclusive experience of festival cocktails and bites, spirits tasting stations from industry leading purveyors, live music, and a photo booth to capture the fun.  Tickets are $65.

On Thursday, March 5, Oyamel’s Head Chef Omar Rodriguez will host an Agave Spirits Dinner.  With seating at 6:30 p.m., the dinner will include four courses plus dessert paired with Codigo Tequila and Mezcales de Leyenda.  Tickets are $79.

Fans of ceviche, will not want to miss one of four Chefs Counter Dinners, with 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. seatings on Tuesday, March 10 and Thursday, March 11.  An intimate and one-of-a-kind experience available to only six guests at Oyamel’s ceviche bar, the dinners include a five-course tasting menu prepared by Chef Rodriguez and a mezcal or tequila cocktail with each course prepared by Oyamel’s Beverage Manager Azael Salgado. Tickets are $95.
