39 states now on DC’s list of high-risk states for travelers

The list of high-risk states that require a self-quarantine of 14 days when returning or traveling to DC, was dramatically expanded today.

The list of high-risk states originally included 27 states; following adjustments every two weeks since its release, the list now stands at 39 states.

The 11 states NOT on the high-risk list include:

  • California
  • Hawaii
  • Maine
  • Maryland*
  • New Hampshire
  • New Jersey
  • New York
  • Oregon
  • Vermont
  • Virginia*
  • Washington

* Maryland and Virginia are exempt from inclusion on the list; however, COVID-19 infection rates are currently on the rise in both states.
