EDITOR’S NOTE: The Washington Nationals’ opener against the New York Mets scheduled for today has been postponed because of COVID-19 issues. TAP Sports Bar will still hold its viewing parting for the other opening day games.

Baseball is back and TAP Sports Bar at MGM National Harbor is brewing up the ultimate Washington Nationals watch party on Thursday, April 1. TAP is celebrating the return of baseball with special giveaways for guests from 5 p.m. – 11 p.m.

Fans will be able to enjoy the game on more than 70 flat screen TVs viewable from expansive indoor-and-outdoor seating with panoramic views of the Potomac River. TAP features an extensive list of local and seasonal craft beers to complement its array of gourmet twists on classic pub food. Menu highlights include the “Disco Fries” covered in shaved ribeye, gravy and provolone; and the “Steakhouse Burger” which tops a premium steak patty on a brioche bun with A1 aioli, bleu cheese crumble, applewood smoked bacon, stout onion and a beefsteak tomato.

TAP is outfitted with health and safety protocols outlined in MGM Resorts Seven-Point Safety Plan, including virtual line queuing and digital menu viewing through QR codes as well as contactless payment.

The Nats home opener begins at 7:09 p.m. EDT. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made by calling (301) 971=6040.
