MGM National Harbor debuts ‘Casino Al Fresco’

Panoramic views of the Potomac married with the thrill of the possible next jackpot create a one-of-a-kind venue that can only be experienced at MGM National Harbor. The resort casino has debuted an outdoor gaming terrace where guests can enjoy their favorite slot games in an unmatched setting.

“We are excited to open one of the country’s most unique gaming settings,” said Alex Alvarado, vice president of casino operations. “Our guests will love the ability to take their casino experience outside where they can enjoy a cocktail and fabulous views of the region.”

The terrace features cocktail service from the casino floor and is home to a selection of popular games such as Dancing Drums, Buffalos and 88 Fortunes.

With this addition, the monumental entertainment destination further diversifies its gaming venues that includes:

  • Casino Floor: MGM National Harbor’s main 125,000-square-foot casino floor features more than 120 table games, 3,300 premium slot machines, a luxury high-limit gaming room and a recently expanded Baccarat Pit.
  • Poker Room: Located on the second level of the casino floor, the Poker Room is home to 46 tables including 10 exclusive high-limit games.
  • Race Book: The Race Book is a 24-screen off-track betting lounge created in partnership with The Maryland Jockey Club. The 1,500-square-foot simulcast facility features 21 carrels for guests.
