It has been a ski chalet, a Viking village, and now Hook Hall‘s backyard has been turned into The Safari at Hook Hall. This new makeover comes complete with air-conditioned tents that seat from 12 to 50 guests — making it a very cool spot for a summer party.
Palm trees, animal-printed pillows, and African masks are part of the décor inside the tents, with Banyan trees lining the middle of the yard alongside umbrellaed picnic tables. Hook Hall’s featured Springbok Savana tent holds up to 50 guests and includes couches, swings, rattan furniture, oversized pillows, colorful footrests, large coffee tables and chandeliers.
A beverage menu that carries out the theme includes cocktails like “A Peachy Cheetah” with Ketel One Botanicals peach and orange blossom paired with Makers Mark and ginger beer and peach bitters and the “Hippo Hibiscus Fizz” that incorporates Haku Rice Vodka, Bushido Sake, hibiscus syrup, lemon, and bubbles.
The rental price for the picnic tables that hold up to eight guests starts at $15 for 2.5 hours and the starting price for a tented space starts at $75 for 2.5 hours.
