Qatar Airways offers all-inclusive travel packages for World Cup, debuts new World Cup Qatar 2022 livery at Dulles airport

Qatar Airways debuted its FIFA World Cup livery at Dulles International Airport on Thursday, Sept. 15.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup will be held in Qatar from Nov. 20 to Dec. 18. It’s the first time the 32-team tournament has been held in the Middle East. In celebration of this milestone, Qatar Airways, FIFA’s Official Airline Partner, is offering special all-inclusive travel packages.

Starting from $3,400 per person and available for travel from Dulles International Airport, the packages include flights, match tickets, and accommodation options. Travelers will also experience flights on Qatar Airways’ Boeing 777-200LR in FIFA World Cup 2022 livery and enjoy special World Cup inspired in-flight menus.

Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker said, “At Qatar Airways, we are proud and excited to help fans travel and witness this incredible tournament in Qatar. With groups now set, we encourage fans to experience Qatar Airways’ truly unique and hospitable service as our nation welcomes the world.”

A multiple award-winning airline, Qatar Airways was announced as the Airline of the Year at the 2021 World Airline Awards, managed by the international air transport rating organization, Skytrax. It was also named World’s Best Business Class, World’s Best Business Class Airline Lounge, World’s Best Business Class Airline Seat, World’s Best Business Class Onboard Catering, and Best Airline in the Middle East. The airline continues to stand alone at the top of the industry having won the main prize for an unprecedented sixth time (2011, 2012, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2021).

Qatar Airways’ hub, Hamad International Airport (HIA), was also recently recognized as the Best Airport in the World 2021.
