Silver Diner has opened its first location in the District

Since the opening of its first location in Rockville, Md. in 1989, Silver Diner has grown into amuch loved local powerhouse with more than 20 locations and numerous awards for its food. And now it has opened its first location in the District.

The newest Silver Diner is located at 1250 Half St. SE, directly across the street from the main entrance to Nationals Park. It’s also the restaurant chain’s first two-story location, with the iconic Silver Diner concept on the first floor and a sophisticated upstairs bar lounge with a terrace overlooking the ballpark. The second floor experience is branded as Silver Social and is limited to guests 21 years of age and older.

The District’s new Silver Diner is open 7 a.m. to midnight, Sunday through Thursday, and from 7 a.m. to 3 a.m., Friday and Saturday.
