The Henri partners with Woodford Reserve for its new private label Bourbon

The Henri’s Chef Frederick de Pue personally visited the Woodford Reserve distillery to help select the barrels for the blending of his restaurant’s new private label Bourbon.

Downtown DC’s contemporary European bistro The Henri by Chef Frederik de Pue has partnered with Woodford Reserve for the restaurant’s new private label Kentucky Straight Bourbon.

Woodford Reserve is known for its premium small-batch whiskeys. Chef de Pue and his team visited the distillery and created the private-label Bourbon from three handpicked barrels.

Chef de Pue is hosting a special evening soirée to introduce and showcase the restaurant’s new private label Bourbon and namesake “The Henri” from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 14. Guests will have the opportunity to experience one of the city’s most distinguished dining experiences and enjoy an evening of inventive cocktails and signature dishes.

Tickets for this experience are $150 at include two hours of passed hors d’oeuvres created by Chef de Pue and his team plus one craft cocktail curated with “The Henri” or Woodford Reserve Rye. In addition, every guest will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a trio of The Henri’s private label Woodford Reserve bottles. Proceeds from the evening will benefit No Kid Hungry.
