The cherry blossoms are expected to be in peak bloom between March 22 -25 but why wait to enjoy these beauties? The annual Pink Tie Party is coming March 16th and is the perfect way to kick of the spring season. This gala is one of the many highlights to experience as part of Washington’s National Cherry Blossom Festival.
The reception-style event will take place at the Ronald Reagan Building and be hosted by emcee Guy Lambert. Guest donned in their finest pink attire will enjoy culinary creations by Chef Houman Gohary and the best bites of the DC area restaurant scene. Along with the sumptuous bites, there will be cocktails and mocktails along with an XR activation by ARTECHOUSE DC at the House of Suntory Bar. Additional surprises during the Pink Tie Party include a blossom runway presentation by the beautiful queens of Absolutely Dragulous.
Tickets for the event will be $225 and can be purchased here. All funds support the mission of Washington, DC’s iconic National Cherry Blossom Festival, ensuring Festival events remain primarily free and open to the public.

Saturday, March 11 – Sunday, June 11 – Pixelbloom: Timeless Butterflies – Merging digital and physical worlds, ARTECHOUSE Studio creates a new expression, re-imagining the potential of a vibrant full spring bloom, both digital and organic in design.
Saturday, March 25 – Blossom Kite Festival – Kite enthusiasts, beginners, families, and friends are all welcome – bring your own kite, purchase one onsite, or pick up a free kite kit that you can decorate onsite.
Saturday, March 31 – Paws and Pets Yappy Hour – Guests and the public are invited to the Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington D.C Convention Centre with their furry friends to attend the Paws & Petals Yappy Hour presented by Mars Petcare. Along with happy hour specials, guests will have the opportunity to sign up for a very special doggie swim at the property’s on-site pool, which is normally closed to pets who stay on-site.
Saturday, April 15 – The National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade – Grand colorful helium balloons, elaborate floats, marching bands from across the country, celebrity entertainers, and performers burst down the Parade route in a spectacle of music and showmanship celebrating spring in Washington, DC.
