The Foo Fighters will be the opening act for The Atlantis, the 9:30 Club’s new next-door little sister music venue

I.M.P., the independent concert promotion and production company that operates the 9:30 Club, The Anthem, Lincoln Theatre, and Merriweather Post Pavilion, has announced that the Foo Fighters will be the opening act for its newest music venue, The Atlantis.

Located directly behind the 9:30 Club at at 2047 9th St. NW, The Atlantis has 450 seats and is a replica of the original 9:30 Club that opened in1980 was located at 930 F Street NW.

In honor of the 9:30 CLub’s 44th anniversary, the Foo Fighters will be the first of 44 acts making up The Atlantis’ opening series. In addition, in keeping with the theme, all tickets are also $44 each.

To deter scalping and ensure tickets get into the hands of legitimate fans, The Atlantis is utilizing Ticketmaster Request powered by Ticketstoday for ticketing the inaugural run of shows.
