2024/2025 Season

Kicking off the season on Oct. 15 is “Mean Girls,” the riotously funny musical adaptation of Tina Fey’s beloved film. With its catchy tunes and witty dialogue, this high-energy show explores the tumultuous world of high school social hierarchies in a manner that’s entertaining and thought-provoking. “A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical” follows closely on its heels, beginning on Dec. 3. This production offers a deep dive into the life and hits of one of music’s most enduring icons, promising audiences a night of nostalgic melodies and captivating storytelling.

The new year brings “Shucked” to the stage on Feb. 25, a fresh and innovative musical that’s been generating buzz for its unique premise and heartwarming narrative. Following in spring, “Kimberly Akimbo,” set to begin on May 20, tugs at the heartstrings with its story of a teenager facing extraordinary challenges, set against a backdrop of quirky humor and poignant moments.

Summer at The National heats up with “Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of The Temptations,” starting on June 17. This electrifying production chronicles the remarkable journey of one of Motown’s legendary groups, filled with soulful performances and timeless classics. Closing out the season is the much-anticipated “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.” Beginning on July 8, this spellbinding play continues the story of the world’s most famous wizard, offering a new adventure that’s as magical as it is moving.

In addition to these spectacular shows, Season ticket holders at The National enjoy the privilege of customizing their package by swapping one of the season’s shows for a Season Special of their choice, including options such as “SIX” (starting Nov. 12), “A Magical Cirque Christmas” (starting Dec. 12), “TINA – The Tina Turner Musical” (starting Jan. 24). This flexibility, along with benefits like priority access to tickets, exclusive pricing, and show-swapping options, makes being a Season Ticket Holder an exceptionally rewarding experience.

Furthermore, The National Theatre goes above and beyond to ensure accessibility for all patrons. ASL interpretation is available for all six season shows on select Thursday nights, ensuring that the magic of live theatre is accessible to the deaf and hard-of-hearing community.

Season tickets for the 2024/25 lineup are on sale now, and various flexible payment options are available. Single-performance tickets will become available later in the year.
