New food hall opens in downtown Silver Spring

Solaire Social is now open at 8200 Dixon Ave. in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland.

A new food hall, Solaire Social, has opened in downtown Silver Spring. The 13,000-square-foot dining destination features a collection of artisan eateries curated by chef and restaurateur Akhtar Nawab of Hospitality HQ.

  • SOKO BUTCHER: Meat from local and sustainable farms that raise animals ethically and humanely.
  • SHUGA X ICE: African-inspired ice cream and your favorite frozen desserts.
  • FIRE PIT BRAZILIAN BARBEQUE: Pork ribs, short ribs, chicken, and picanha, all fresh from the grill.
  • PAU & SOPHIA’S THAI KITCHEN: Authentic and delicious Thai food at a reasonable price.
  • JUST CHICKEN: Quality and tasty chicken tenders.
  • MANNA SUSHI: Sushi made with high-quality ingredients.
  • SOKO OYSTER: Oysters and other shellfish, tasty sandwiches, seasonal salads, and more.

In addition to the wide variety of food vendors, Solaire Social has a 40-seat bar and entertainment stage.
