AirOtic Soiree brings sensual circus magic to DC

Summer in DC is notoriously hot, but this year it’s getting even steamier with AirOtic Soiree, a sensual cabaret acrobatic circus show, taking place at Hook Hall for a limited three-month engagement that promises to dazzle audiences with its captivating blend of aerial ballet, extravagant costumes, and seductive choreography.

AirOtic Soiree is a spin-off of the renowned French circus Les Farfadais, which combines elements of traditional circus performances with modern burlesque and acrobatics. The troupe of international artists performs breathtaking routines including an aerial ballet from riggings set in Hook Hall’s ceilings, showcasing their exceptional physique, strength, and artistry.

Each performance of AirOtic Soiree is a feast for the senses, with lavish costumes and sultry dance numbers that push the boundaries of conventional circus acts. The show’s unique blend of cabaret and circus arts creates an atmosphere of elegance and allure, making it a perfect night out for those looking to be entertained and enchanted.

Running through Sunday, Sept. 1, AirOtic Soiree’s regular performances are held Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 7 p.m., 8 p.m., 9 p.m., or 10 p.m., depending on the date selected. Tickets range from $70 to $120.

    Adding to the excitement, each Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. during the run, AirOtic Soiree presents “Bubbles & Burlesque.” This special show includes some of DC’s top drag entertainers and is brimming with glamour, wit, and jaw-dropping performances. Tickets range from $55 to $80.
