In addition to the individual product awards, this year marks the debut of the TGA Brand of the Year award — it was awarded to Briggs & Riley, a company that has continually pushed boundaries with functional design, sustainability, and customer-first innovation. Their leadership in both product development and brand storytelling set them apart in a competitive market and inspired both retailers and travelers alike.

“This award isn’t just about being popular or trending,” said Josh Cross, President and CEO of the Travel Goods Association. “It’s about building something that lasts — something that earns the respect of the industry through excellence, grit, and meaningful contributions.”
Cotopaxi, which creates “colorful, sustainably designed outdoor gear to fuel adventure and global change,” was presented with the TGA Sustainability Award. 100% of the company’s products contain materials that are either repurposed (using excess industry fabric), recycled, or responsibly certified by a third party.
