Fairmont x Veuve Clicquot Celebrate Freedom 250

Washington, D.C. is turning up the glamour this August. Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown has partnered with iconic champagne house Veuve Clicquot to transform its beloved Courtyard into Veuve Clicquot La Courtyard. It’s a chic, bistro-inspired pop-up that runs from August 14 through August 23, 2026. The occasion? The inaugural Freedom 250 Grand Prix, the first-ever NTT IndyCar Series race on the National Mall.

Think signature yellow decor, bubbles on ice, and a curated menu designed to impress. No reservations required.

Open daily from 11 am to 11 pm, the Pair and Share pop-up spans three spaces at Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown—the Courtyard, Lobby Bar, and Loggia. Each setting offers bistro-style seating and photo-worthy moments framed by the hotel’s elegant architecture.

The pop-up celebrates the Freedom 250 Grand Prix taking place August 22–23, 2026. As part of America’s 250th anniversary, the free two-day motorsports event will roar through the National Mall with the Washington Monument and U.S. Capitol as its spectacular backdrop.

What’s on the Menu?

Executive Chef Jaime Montes de Oca has crafted a tight but seriously tempting menu, with each dish expertly paired with a glass of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label.

  • Chesapeake Oysters — $35: Three oysters with cauliflower mousse and caviar. Elegant, briny, and perfectly matched to a crisp pour of Yellow Label.
  • Lobster Temaki — $32: A hand-held cone filled with Maine lobster, cucumber, avocado, sushi rice, and nori. Fresh, refined, and undeniably fun.
  • Roseda Farm Burger — $45: Garlic chili mayo, crispy pancetta, aged cheddar, and fries. Rich, indulgent, and surprisingly at home alongside a glass of champagne.

Want to elevate the experience further? Upgrade to Veuve Clicquot RICH or RICH Rosé over ice, garnished with fresh strawberries, for just an additional $5. Tax and gratuity not included.
