Glow Block Party turns Pennsylvania Avenue into an epic dance floor on Oct. 3 with Diplo

Club Glow is bringing the party back to Pennsylvania Avenue. The promoter’s secondGlow Block Party lands Oct. 3, with Grammy-winning DJ and producer Diplo headlining an outdoor rave staged just steps from the U.S. Capitol.

The all-day event runs 3 to 10 p.m. at 600 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, transforming one of the nation’s most recognizable streets into a full-scale dance floor. It’s rain or shine, and organizers expect thousands of electronic-music fans from up and down the East Coast.

Diplo leads a stacked bill. The Mad Decent founder and Major Lazer star helped pioneer the blend of house, Miami bass, favela funk and hip-hop, and he has worked with Beyoncé, Justin Bieber and Skrillex along the way. Joining him are tech-house standout Westend, singer and DJ Anabel Englund, breakout act Monty Kiddo and DC’s own Ratalina.

The Block Party is a destination mini-festival planted between the Capitol, the National Gallery of Art and the National Archives. Beyond the music, fans can expect a lineup of food vendors, activations and more throughout the afternoon and evening.

The debut edition set a high bar this spring, drawing 10,000 fans who danced against the backdrop of the Capitol dome while Chris Lake headlined. This fall’s return aims to top it.

Tickets start at $65 for general admission and $125 for VIP. General public sales open Aug. 14 at noon ET, while fans registered for presale get first access Aug. 13 at 10 a.m. ET. You can register and buy tickets at clubglow.com/blockparty.

Club Glow, run by President and CEO Pete Kalamoutsos, is the longest-running electronic-music promoter on the East Coast. The company has produced thousands of events across trance, house and bass, and it operates Echostage, the 3,000-capacity DC mega-venue that fans voted DJ Mag’s “#1 Venue in the World” in 2021 — the first North American venue to earn the honor. Club Glow also produces Project Glow, an annual festival that draws more than 40,000 fans, and has partnered with global entertainment company Insomniac Events since 2020.

For anyone in the DC area looking to close out the summer with a marquee lineup and a one-of-a-kind setting, Oct. 3 is the date to circle.
