The Dome, an immersive rooftop venue at Hi-Lawn in the Union Market District, will host a special cherry blossom immersive experience this spring in collaboration with ARTECHOUSE Studio. Peak Bloom: Dome Experience running March 19 through April 26 features a curated digital presentation inspired by Washington’s iconic peak bloom season on the Dome’s 50-foot spherical rooftop structure at Union Market District.
Peak Bloom: Dome Experience features a selection of cherry blossom-inspired original visuals developed by ARTECHOUSE Studio and thoughtfully adapted for the Dome’s unique architectural format. Designed as a 45-minute self-guided walkthrough presentation, the experience invites guests to settle beneath the sphere’s expansive projection surface as petals, light, and motion unfold overhead. The result is a contemporary digital interpretation of Washington’s beloved spring ritual, presented in a relaxed, shared viewing environment.

“Since our very first exhibition nearly a decade ago, the Cherry Blossom season has been part of ARTECHOUSE’s creative DNA. Even as our DC location undergoes renovation, it felt important to continue that connection with Washingtonians. Partnering with The Dome @ Hi-Lawn allows us to bring elements of our seasonal programming to a new space and celebrate peak bloom together in a fresh way,” Josh Feldman, Senior Marketing & Revenue Director (DMV) ARTECHOUSE.
Located on the Rooftop at Union Market, Hi-Lawn’s 50-foot spherical dome will serve as the canvas for this limited spring presentation, extending the spring season overhead with colorful flower displays and vibrant decor. Ticket-holders are granted timed entry into The Dome, with options for both standing and first-come, first-served seating.

As the story unfolds, guests can enjoy a curated spring a la carte drink menu of bright, bubbly spritzes and edible flower-garnished saketinis.
Peak Bloom: Dome Experience opens on Thursday, March 19 and runs through April 26. Shows will run Tuesday-Sunday from 10am-10pm, and sessions run every 45 minutes.
Entry tickets rang from $12 to $22, with special pricing for families on weekdays, plus date night packages. Tickets will go live on March 9 at 10am, available for purchase online. Food and drinks will be sold a la carte.
