DC’s popular waterfront neighborhood, The Yards is hosting Bark Crawl, a new fun-filled bar crawl tailored for dog owners and their canine companions on Wednesday, Aug. 14, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Participants can enjoy an evening traveling between the outdoor patios of participating restaurants where dogs are the guests of honor.
Specialty dog treats will be available to ensure that the pets have a tail-waggin’ good time, with giveaways such as bandanas, tennis balls, and doggie bags at each restaurant, while humans can enjoy a signature pup-themed cocktail.
Participating Restaurants and Specialty Cocktails Include:
- Bloodhound – Bacon-fat washed old fashioned
- Jack Rossell Spritz – Calvados lemon spritz
- Bay Leaf Bark-iri – Rum blend, bay and avocado leaf, lime, grapefruit bitters
- Puppuccino Espresso Martini – Freshly pulled espresso, vodka, vanilla, allspice demerara syrup, puppuccino cream
- Thai Chili Hibiscus “Paw”loma
- Salty Chihuahua
- Blackberry Black Dog
- Off The Leash – Coconut rum, muddled oranges, fresh lime, mango puree topped with Sprite
- The Zoomies – Vodka, espresso liqueur, creme de cacao, bitters
- Good Girl – Gin, raspberry puree, fresh lime, muddled blueberries, prosecco
- Good Boy – Jameson orange whiskey, mango, orange bitters, fresh lemon, splash of ginger beer

Participants who post on Instagram using the #BarkCrawl and tag @TheYardsDC will be entered to win a $100 gift card to their favorite Yards restaurant.
