Summer has officially landed at Truluck’s Ocean’s Finest Seafood & Crab, and the upscale seafood house is marking the season with a wave of limited-time menus, cocktails, and Father’s Day specials built for celebration.
The Summer of ’92 Prix Fixe
The centerpiece is the return of the Summer of ’92 menu, a three-course prix fixe at $59 per person, now available. Named for the year Truluck’s opened its first restaurant, the menu spotlights a tight selection of house favorites at an accessible price point.

Diners start with one of eight first-course options. The Little Gem Caesar Salad and Shrimp Cocktail anchor the lineup, while an upgrade unlocks the Burrata & Stone Fruit Salad, a bright plate of shaved prosciutto, honey vinaigrette, and crushed pistachios. Seven entrées follow, ranging from a Petit Scallop & Shrimp Sauté to a 6-ounce Filet Mignon and a hearty Pappardelle Bolognese. Dessert seals the deal with options like Petit Carrot Cake and Petit Key Lime Pie, but the standout is the seasonal Citrusmisu — citrus mascarpone, soaked ladyfingers, and basil-scented strawberries.
A Globe-Spanning Catch Over Ice
For guests who come to Truluck’s for one thing, the Crab, Crab, Crab feature delivers premium crab sourced from waters around the world. Each selection arrives pre-scored for easy picking, chilled over ice, and paired with the restaurant’s signature mustard sauce and TL Louie Sauce. Choose from Wild Bairdi Crab out of Alaska, Red King Crab from the Bering Sea, or Dungeness Crab from the Pacific Northwest, available in quarter-pound portions or as a Crab Flight.
Dads Eat Well: Prime Rib Sundays and an Elijah Craig Gift Set

Father’s Day gets its own spotlight. The Prime Rib Sunday experience offers a fitting centerpiece for celebrating dads, and gift-minded guests can grab a $50 Elijah Craig package through OpenTable Experiences while supplies last. The set includes a half bottle of Elijah Craig Small Batch, a crystal mixing glass, a cocktail spoon and julep strainer, an Old Fashioned recipe book, a Father’s Day card, and a signature canvas bag.
Seasonal Cocktails, a Happy Hour Steal, and a Good Cause
The bar program keeps pace with three seasonal cocktails. Fútbol Pasión, a nod to the FIFA World Cup 2026, mixes Don Julio 1942 tequila with tropical flavors and a soccer ball-inspired garnish, available to pour now through July 19. June also brings the Toasted Pecan Old Fashioned, blending Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel Bourbon with El Guapo Creole Orgeat and aromatic bitters. In July, the Yellowstone Bourbon Paper Plane balances bright citrus and bittersweet notes against caramel, vanilla, and gentle spice.
Daily happy hour runs from 4 to 6 p.m. every night in the bar, with 50% off handcrafted cocktails, wines by the glass, spirits, and oysters. And throughout July, Truluck’s partners with Austin Hope Winery to support veterans living with PTSD through Operation Surf, donating $10 per glass and $50 per bottle of Austin Hope’s Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve.

Truluck’s opened its flagship in Houston in 1992 and now operates 12 locations across Florida, Texas, Illinois, and Washington, D.C. With fresh seafood, hand-cut steaks, and a sustainability-minded kitchen, the D.C. outpost makes a strong case for your next summer reservation.
