Wonder, the ‘new kind of food hall,’ expands to DC’s West End

Wonder‘s newest location is now open in D.C.’s West End neighborhood. Located at 1200 New Hampshire Avenue NW, the “new kind of food hall” brings a wide variety of meals from top chefs and popular restaurants together under one roof, offering a convenient new option for local residents and professionals.

A Menu of Famous Chefs and Restaurants

Wonder, which also has a 14th Street Corridor location in DC and a Arlington location in Northern Virginia, provides a unique dining experience by allowing customers to order from multiple restaurant menus in a single transaction. The West End location features an impressive lineup of culinary talent. You can find California-inspired dishes from James Beard Award winner Jonathan Waxman at Walnut Lane, or explore Greek flavors from celebrity chef Michael Symon’s Chios Taverna.

Other notable eateries include Texas-style Tejas Barbecue and Streetbird from chef Marcus Samuelsson. The food hall also offers menus created exclusively for Wonder, such as Royal Greens for salads and Room for Dessert, which features treats from well-known brands like Magnolia Bakery and Baked by Melissa. This setup allows you to mix and match items to create the perfect meal, whether you’re dining alone or with a group.

A Special Collaboration with José Andrés

To celebrate its expansion in the D.C. area, Wonder is highlighting its partnership with local culinary icon and board member, José Andrés. His popular fennel, apple, and manchego cheese salad is available for a limited time on the Royal Greens menu. This collaboration brings a taste of Andrés’s signature style directly to Wonder customers.

More Than Just Food

Beyond its diverse food offerings, Wonder is committed to supporting the local community. The company has established a partnership with DC Central Kitchen, a nonprofit dedicated to fighting hunger and providing job training. Through this initiative, Wonder supports the organization’s mission to create opportunities and provide meals to those in need. Customers also have the option to “round up” their change on every order to make a direct donation to DC Central Kitchen.

The West End location is designed for flexibility, offering dine-in seating, quick pickup, and free delivery service. It aims to make high-quality, chef-driven food more accessible for everyone, from students at nearby universities to professionals working in the area. It is open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
